TONKATSU TAKESHIN, located in the residential area of Shibuya in Tokyo, offers all about Katsu. Takeshin was opened by Etsuo Takeda in 1974 in the prefecture of Kanagawa. In 2006 its second branch was opened in Shibuya Tokyo by his successor, his son, Kazuya Takeda who has mastered making Katsu since he was a young boy.

Takeshin serve various traditional dishes, like Tonkatsu, Katsu-ni (katsu simmered with egg), Seafood Katsu, Katsu Sandwich, original line of ''Takeshin Special Katsudon'' (katsu bowl), and more.

''Why are we different?''

1.SPF Pork
We use HAYASHI SPF Pork grown in the prefecture of Chiba. SPF stands for Specific Pathogen Free. SPF pork meats are very safe and healthy. You will find sweet flavor and juiciness in our Tonkatsu.

2.Rice Bran Oil
Rich in oleic acid and vitamin E, with lower fat and cholesterol. Using rice bran oil makes the Katsu crispy and allows the flavors of panko to shine through.

3.Fresh Panko
We use our original order made Panko which is resulting to why the texture is long and light that produces Crispy flakes. This is one of the reason why our Katsu is original and different from all other Katsu houses out there.

4.Agrochemical Free Rice
Premium blend rice such as Koshihikari, Hitomebore, and Akitakomachi are the brands we use to fill up your hungry tummies.
